Our mission for 2026 is clear: Put Seattle Women’s Cricket on the map.
The first major campaign of the year kicks off at the San Diego Open (Feb 14-17), where our franchise will have a double presence on the national stage:
- Seattle Cyclones: Our flagship team will compete in the Elite Division, facing off against the strongest squads in North America.
- Seattle Sparks: Our newly formed traveling team will make its debut in the Emerging Division, providing vital national exposure for our rising stars.
To support the Cyclones’ pursuit of the Elite title, we are thrilled to welcome two world-class player-mentors to the premier squad:
- Vritti Dahiya: A Canadian National player known for her tactical prowess and high-performance standards.
- Laasya Mullapudi: A distinguished US National player who brings international experience to the Cyclones’ middle order.
Both Vritti and Laasya will be joining the Cyclones in San Diego, continuing our tradition of integrating experienced national players to elevate the standard of Seattle cricket.
“Competing in the Elite Division with players like Vritti and Laasya is exactly where this franchise needs to be,” noted the team leadership. “It’s about challenging ourselves at the highest level while the Sparks build the foundation for our future success.”
