The Seattle Cyclones began with a simple but powerful vision: that girls can achieve extraordinary things when they play as a team. We believe that the deep bonds shared between teammates are the foundation of excellence, where every player pushes another to become a better athlete and a stronger leader.

The first Cyclones squad was a humble group of pioneering young women, sometimes even relying on "unwitting younger brothers" just to field a team. From those small, determined beginnings, we have grown into a thriving community. This expansion was made possible by the unified support of all Seattle-area cricket academies, who worked together to enable these girls to compete as a collective force in local tournaments.

Today, the Seattle Youth Cricket League provides a home for women who previously lacked a path to competitive hardball cricket, fostering an environment where a U15 girls' team can challenge themselves and win. What started in local parks is now Seattle’s first women’s cricket franchise, competing on the national stage and putting Seattle women's sports on the map.
